The Lord's Prayer | ||
History and The Friends of Great St Mary's
|
Above the nave, there are three panels which contain the Ten commandments, the Apostles' Creed and the Lord's Prayer, made from silk-covered cardboard letters by two victorian teenagers in the Wiseman family. What better way to start a visit to the church than with the prayer that our Lord taught us to pray.... Our
Father, This history pages are primarily about the building called Great St Mary's Church. It is worth remembering that the Church is also the body of people and those who take spiritual and pastoral care of the parish of Sawbridgeworth. If you are seeking spiritual help or guidance in any way please don't hesitate to contact our Parish Office on 01279 726629 or the Vicar, Robert Sibson on 723305. |
